Meet Lyn Evans:

Lyn Evans Shotkus is the founder and President of Lyn Evans for Potpourri Designs. Her retail career began as a buyer for Strawbridge and Clothier, an upscale department store based out of Philadelphia, PA. The executive training program experience gave her the foundation, confidence, and expertise to open her first retail specialty store in Newton, MA. in 1978. Thirty years later, Lyn Evans for Potpourri Designs owns and operates 7 unique women’s apparel specialty stores in MA and CT with corporate headquarters located in Wellesley, MA.

Lyn has been honored to be a part of many community organizations and to serve on the Board of Trustees at Moravian College (her alma mater) and the Board of Directors of BayBank’s Middlesex. She is the visionary of the company working with her staff to dress and accessorize their customers for all her lifestyles. Lyn Evans caters to the fashion savvy customer who looks at fashion as an attitude not an age. Lyn and her buying staff interpret today’s most exciting fashion trends for the discriminating taste of our clientele.

Lyn Evans has made it a mission to get involved in the communities we serve. “Doing well by doing good” is one of the core values of the company. Lyn and her busy staff give back to the community through a combination of fundraisers, fashion shows and charity events throughout the year. Our store managers like to have fun with our friends and customers by organizing a number of events throughout the year; “Girl’s Night Out” parties, wardrobing events, wine tastings, trunk shows and martini parties.
